TELL Tokyo Tower Climb 2026

On April 19, 2026, Apex proudly participated in the TELL Tokyo Tower Climb—a meaningful charity event that raises awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Apex has supported TELL and this event since 2017, and this year marked our sixth year of participation.

The annual event organized by TELL Japan, brings together companies, communities, and individuals to climb approximately 600 steps of Tokyo Tower in support of a shared cause.

This year, our internal TELL Tokyo Tower Climb 2026 planning committee led the initiative, bringing together 21 Apex participants from across the business.

From early morning, the atmosphere was already full of energy—music playing, participants warming up, and teams encouraging each other before the climb began.

That’s what made this event special. Not just performance, but commitment.

The event itself is simple—it’s about climbing stairs. But once you take part, it feels like something more significant than that. Some people ran, while others walked at their own pace. Everyone joined in their own way, but there was a strong sense of unity across the event. Apex members also delivered a solid performance this year. Apex’s own Ellis Warren set a new personal best with a time of 3:09, once again achieving one of the top results.

”The Tokyo Tower event is an annual fixture in our company calendar and it is always a pleasure to support Tell- they provide such an important service, supporting more and more people every year.

What made me happiest was seeing so many new joiners at the event, all of whom woke up early on a Sunday morning to support a truly great cause.

It's exciting to see the new generations so active in championing important causes such as mental health. The future certainly looks bright for our partnership with Tell and our company's engagement with the community.”Ellis Warren, Manager, Medical Device Team, Apex

The event was not just about the climb. The deep sense of doing something for those in need permeated the overall landscape of why we climb.

There were also many elements that made it enjoyable for everyone. There was music from a live DJ, warm-up sessions led by instructors, and water and coffee stations available throughout the venue. There were also photo spots, a message board for support, and face painting, creating a space that people of all ages could enjoy.

Overall, the atmosphere was bright and relaxed, and it was nice to see people naturally starting conversations and connecting with each other.

After the climb, we were lucky to have great weather and enjoyed a relaxed picnic in a nearby park.

Families and children joined the team and some of our new graduates who joined Apex just this month also took part, making it a great opportunity to spend time together over food and conversation.

At Apex, participating in events like the Tokyo Tower Climb is not just about CSR.

It’s about:

  • Supporting mental health awareness

  • Building stronger internal connections

  • Creating experiences that people remember

Because in the end, what matters most is not just how fast we climb—but who we climb with, and what we stand for together.

We are proud to continue supporting TELL and their mission.

And we look forward to climbing again—stronger, together.
