The Apex internship program was established in 2014, and since then we have had over 20 interns join our team. We partner closely with the University in Victoria in Canada as our Managing Director and many of our staff are alumni from the university. We have also had interns from other regions, so applications from other universities are also accepted.
Each internship varies depending on the areas in need of support and current projects. Common duties can include supporting consultants in their day to day recruitment activities, supporting the marketing and IT teams, and other projects as they arise.
I appreciated having the opportunity to work on extra projects that interest me, and it has lead me to figure out what I would like to focus on in my next internship. Above all though I have loved working with people from all over the world, and to have had the chance to learn from so many intelligent co-workers.”
There are many skills I have developed and lessons I’ve learned at Apex that I will take with me for the rest of my life. Above all, being directly involved with some senior-level executive searches and working with our Managing Director has proven to be a big learning experience for me and has helped me understand how to manage communication with multiple stakeholders.
