<Job Descriptions>

・Establish commercial strategy and sales targets for the company in partnership with senior management from the group company
・Achieve revenue objectives for the company by driving a strong sales excellence mindset and process across the sales teams.
・Provide strategic vision and guidance to the organization to accelerate growth
・Guide the sales team members to remain competitive and stay ahead of changing market dynamics including technological changes, market trends, competitive products, and pricing.
・Assess the commercial activities to identify the areas of strength / areas to be improved and define / implement improvement plans to meet sales targets and sustain growth for the teams in Japan
・Coordinate, prepare and implement sales budgets for the company; monitor actual vs. budgeted performance, implement corrective measures as appropriate; report goal accomplishment and variance analysis monthly.
・Lead and develop team by establishing annual goals; hiring and training new associates; coach, monitor and appraise individual performance; grow talents
・Champion the company culture and drive use of the tools and embrace continuous improvement mindset


・Bachelor degree in a relevant area, Master degree advantageous
・10+years of experience operating in areas relevant to healthcare, IVD, products. Total work
experience 15+ years
【Required Experiences】
・Ability to set and pursue sales goals and profit maximization
・Commercial leadership experience in IVD/Life Sciences industry
・Able to deal effectively with and present convincingly to regional/global headquarters to get
support and resources necessary to build Japan business
・Business strategy creation and commercial sales execution. Familiar with and capable of
leading a business focused on high quality products and services
・Must be a capable and effective communicator. Adapt at influencing people with diverse
interest, objectives, and agendas
・Sense of ownership, strong desire to make a personal contribution to the success of the
・Strong leadership skills, lead by example
・Strong business acumen
・Business English: TOEIC 600 or equivalent
・Thrive in a fast paced, high demand environment
・Ability to build and maintain the confidence of senior management and to build relationships necessary to work in a complex, cross-functional organization
