The HRBP Manager is responsible for developing, recommending and implementing policies and programs in the HR area covering retail talent management (acquisition, performance management, training & development), employee relations, organization development and planning as well as related HR matters.
Duties and Responsibilities
HR Business Partner
・Provide quality service and results as it pertains to HR core functional knowledge of employee relations, recruitment, performance management, compensation, benefits, and training and development.
・Build alliances with Retail and Store management and establish a valuable consultative role within the retail organization as subject matter experts.
・Partner with Retail management to provide the Business with strategic direction on each HR practice and process associated with talent development (performance management, organization review, succession planning, development and career planning)
・Execute processing of TA for the retail position, working with Retail HR team members.
・Partner with Retail management to develop broad talent acquisition strategies for hard to fill.
・Advice and support to Store management in working regulations and rules.
・Provide personal counseling to employee to resolve employee relations issues, especially for mental health issue.
・Provide effective coaching, counseling and disciplinary strategies on all ER issues including
・At least 7 years of solid experience working as an HR professional; preferably as a generalist / BP in Retail Industry.
・Experience in recruitment activities in a high volume, multicultural, fast-paced environment, using Japanese and English in office.
