【JOB TITLE】

16687 Product Manager 【Oncology】

【OVERVIEW】

The role is responsible for the creation of integrated product strategies and execution of commercial activities through the stages of life cycle management and working with and reporting to the Senior Manager, Therapeutic Area Lead of Lung, Marketing to evaluate opportunities and develop plans to optimize a brand.

【RESPONSIBILITIES】

・Drive cross-functional Japan Brand Plan development and execution as a product manager
・Design brand marketing strategies and execute promotional activities (detailing aids, message scripts, advertising, congresses, digital tools etc.) in line with global brand strategy
・Develop long range brand plan and forecasting
・Propose sales target, achieve agreement with internal/external stakeholders and perform product accountability timely
・Develop commercial KOLs and tight relationship with them
・Coordinate with multiple functions and optimize entire brand performance
・Closely work with Medial Affairs (CMAL and RML) and other functions.
・Communicate marketing strategies to sales team to ensure brand success
・Address queries and requests from sales team and other functions
・Translate/implement international brand campaign locally, coordinating with global/regional teams
・Run market researches and analyze competitive intelligence
・Communicate with and manage external vendors

【QUALIFICATIONS】

Basic Qualifications:
・Experience in Marketing for minimum of 5 yrs in Pharmaceutical industry in Japan
・New product launch experience in both planning and execution as a Product Manager, Hematology or Oncology Marketing
・Excellent coordination/negotiation skills for both internal and external stakeholders
・Excellent communication/presentation skills
・Language: Japanese & English fluency, both oral and written communications
・Bachelor’s Degree in Life science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
・Therapeutic experience in lung cancer area or solid tumor area.
・Success building relationships at all levels and leading cross-functional teams aligned to plan
・Skill of agility and resilience enough to manage commercial issues.
・Open and proactive communication with internal / external stakeholders
・Pharmaceutical Sales experience also well regarded
・Relevant degree qualifications well regarded
・Fluency in English, both oral and written communications
・Skill of fact analysis and insight finding with several types of data
・Expertise of CDx or IVD
