<Summary>
Responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive local marketing plans, programs and budgets to meet company sales profit objectives and optimize market opportunities.
<Principal Duties and Responsibilities>
・Formulate marketing strategies and tactical execution including selection of
market segments, creating promotional support of distributor/sales force, and
specifying the necessary product characteristics. Work with marketing teams
overseas to gather product information and convey Japan strategy.

・Build marketing team and conduct regular review of markets to clarify market
needs, product positioning, and customer segmentation. Work with regulatory
affairs and market access team to develop strategies in order to strengthen
competitiveness.
・Demonstrate technical expertise and coordinate conversation with key surgeons
and customers by observing surgery, attending medical/ scientific meetings, and
exhibitions to gather competitive information and new market opportunities.
・Develop budget plan and prepare long range, annual, quarterly, and monthly
forecasts for each product line. Analyze forecasts variances and recommend
corrective actions to minimize future back orders or potential obsolescence.
・Determine pricing strategy to maximize opportunities and minimize potential
reimbursement cuts.

Expected Areas of Competence:
・Understanding of Neuro surgery / CMFT products and industry
・Strong analytical, planning and execution skills
・Excellent presentation, organizational, interpersonal and collaboration skills
・Ability to influence others, including distributors, and all levels of the organization to deliver business goals and objectives
・Business level English ( Reading, Writing and Speaking )

Education/ Experience Requirements:
・B.A. or B.S.
・Minimum 2 years of experience in medical device product marketing, preferably in orthopedics, Neuro surgery products.
・Proven success record in the medical marketing with product launch, promotion and product training
・Work experience with local distributors ( preference )

Travel Requirements:
・Domestic business trips several times per month
・Overseas business trips as required several times per year
