<Accountabilities>
1. NPDL accountabilities:
・Provide in-depth insights on local pricing, access, payer, and policy matters critical for early stage product evaluation regarding:
-Pricing, provider and payer channels and channel characteristics
-Magnitude of the opportunity in relation to pricing implications
-Evolution of the reimbursement/funding system and what the environment will evolve to at launch and beyond
-Value evidence that is required to support optimal product pricing at launch sequence
-Local policy environment, key stakeholders, and pending changes to policy/legislation, budget that will impact access at launch
・External engagement
-Engage regularly with relevant reimbursement/funding authorities to understand current landscape and anticipate future changes
・Planning
-Development local plan to gather pricing and access insights to inform PT strategy development and communicate and build alignment with region and global
2. Pricing & reimbursement accountabilities:
・Develop and implement robust pricing strategies including MHLW negotiation to obtain competitive NHI price
・Coordinate and lead cross-functional pricing teams to obtain NHI price
・Serve as local technical expert to local, regional global teams
・Effectively represent Japan positions and requirements at regional and global
planning and strategy meetings
・Working with Marketing, Finance and other functions to ensure business plans and forecasts incorporate latest pricing and reimbursement assumptions

<Basic Requirements>
・Experience with pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement in Japan
・Good understanding of Japan healthcare system including pricing mechanism and system
・Experience in commercial planning, development or regulatory affairs related functions at least 3 years.
・Clear, effective communication in Japanese and English both in oral and writing
・Strong team leading skills, Strategic thinking abilities, results oriented
・Logical thinking, creative, willingness to bring forward new and different approaches
・Enjoy new challenges and is comfortable with responsibilities
・Language: Native level Japanese & Business English

<Preferred Requirements>
・Experience of NHI price negotiation with MHLW (pricing dossier preparation to MHLW, DPO etc.)
・More than 5 years of experience in commercial planning, development or regulatory affairs
・MBA
