The Apex team is always excited to hit the high seas for a fun evening full of Japanese culture, food, drinks, and even some surprise karaoke performances! This year was no exception.
We departed Shinagawa Port at dusk and cruised around the Tokyo Bay while eating freshly prepared sashimi and tempura. By some miracle, we managed to put down our chopsticks for a brief moment to capture a breathtaking view of the sun setting behind the Rainbow Bridge.
"It was a great opportunity to spend time with Apex employees who work on other teams that I don't get to interact with on a daily basis."

The interns verbally agreed to become full-time employees after experiencing their first Apex Yakatabune party.
"This was my first time being on a Yakatabune boat, and it was fantastic! Having fresh sashimi and beer on the water is a uniquely Japanese experience. It was also great to spend time with everyone in the company outside of the office!"

The boat pulled up to the Shinagawa Port as the rain began to fall from the Tokyo night sky, but no amount of rain could dampen our high spirits.
