On May 31, 2025, Apex hosted its third annual golf tournament at Marunouchi Golf Club, welcoming 8 teams to compete in a scramble format. Despite rain throughout the day, experienced players and first-timers worked together on every shot to deliver some truly impressive scores.
Congratulations to the Bogey Busters, who finished with a score of 81, led by team captain Shiho Okamoto alongside Michael Naranjo, Una Sasaki, and Dan Sinclair.
What really makes the annual tournament memorable are the moments in between the scores: learning from one another, celebrating a miraculous 30-foot putt or a chip-in from the bunker, chants of "we are so back" after one good shot, enjoying a warm katsu curry at the turn, and sharing plenty of laughs—especially after all those "practice shots."
A big thank you goes out to the organizers—Jorge Escobedo, Risako Kita, Shiho Okamoto, Ryusaku Osaki—and all participants who contributed to the day's success. We’re also grateful to the company for covering all major expenses, allowing everyone to enjoy a fun day of golf together.
